Excited by the launch of their new series Life After People, A&E (the History Channel) wanted to make an iPhone app to feature the dooms-day scenarios of what Earth could be like long after the existence of humans. The app features a gallery of before and after images, and a very fun "photo ager" as it's called on the street. Users take a photo and add realistic looking cracks, dirt, plants, animals and debris to create their own image of post-human life on Earth. After submitting an engineering update for the app, iTunes temporarily haulted the update stating users might think their phones are broken because the cracks are so realistic. To this I say, "YES! I made vector glass cracks that look so real they fooled Apple's QA department! Cool!!!!"
